Jasper National Park

Jasper is the "Gentle Giant" of the Rockies.
Offering visitors a more laid-back mountain experience - with equal options for adventure, discovery and relaxation. As one of Canada’s oldest and largest national parks, established in the year 1907, Jasper was once seen as an island of civilization in a vast wilderness. More recently, it has become a popular getaway from the hectic life of the cities, and a special place to reconnect with nature.

With nearly 1000km of trails, thousands of campsites, wildlife beyond measure and the second largest Dark Sky Preserve (“Night hides the world but reveals the universe.” a Persian proverb describes perfectly this 'preserve') on the planet, there are endless ways to enjoy the magic of Jasper National Park such as horseback riding, tennis, canoing or paddle boating on Lake Beauvert, golf, or exploring the town of Jasper.

Enjoy the day at leisure to explore this magnificent setting.

The Columbia Ice field Glacier is our subject of interest on this excursion.

We continue to Lake Louise to our home for the evening.

Enjoy the vistas that will awe you and then we're off along the Kicking Horse Pass via Yoho National Park along the western slope of the Continental Divide. Bordered by Kootenay National Park to the south, and Banff National Park to the east, the name Yoho comes from the Cree nation word for 'awe and wonder!'

We arrive Banff National Park, Canada's oldest national park established in 1885 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park encompasses 6641 square miles and features glaciers, ice fields, coniferous forest and alpine terrain.

Located in the heart of Banff National Park, the hotel stands as a landmark in the picturesque alpine town of Banff. The likes of Helen Keller Marilyn Monroe, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth visited the hotel and Benny Goodman was influential in Banff obtaining a landing strip, as he wanted to stay at the hotel but could only do so if there was an area to land his plane. Stanley Thompson, a world recognized golf course designer was selected to construct the world's greatest mountain golf course.
