You are invited to journey with us to the Holy Lands. We will visit much of Israel with a short trek into Jordan to see the famous, ancient city of Petra. All done the Story Way® with unique perspective experiences, immersion sightseeing all balanced with leisure time to maximize the Holy Lands experience. NOTE: We strongly suggest that everyone fly on the national airline of Israel, EL AL, full 7 star rating for safety and comfort. They fly non-stop out of JFK, and LAX. We are planning to offer a 2 Day Pre Tour in fabulous NYC with theater, dining, and shopping. Then we can all fly together into Tel Aviv. For those that may need to travel out of LAX we will plan to meet up with you in Tel Aviv at our hotel. Our Air Service Department will be coordinating this.

Enjoy stops along the way to Petra of viewpoint of shrine marking the grave of Aaron, the brother of Moses, as well as view of Moses' Valley
At Petra we walk to Siq Canyon and view the ancient buildings carved into the mountainside.

Day 5: Mitzpe Ramon

Day 6: Dea Sea, Masada & Jerusalem

Dead Sea & Salt Deposits


Included Breakfast at leisure with option for morning Yoga & Meditation for sunrise over desert
Check out and depart for The Dead Sea area (lowest spot on earth)
Stop at seaside day hotel for changing rooms for a "salt float" (you cannot sink due to salinity of water)
Included Lunch at our day hotel before departing for Qumran National Park & Museum, the caves of Qumran is where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were first discovered in 1946, that confirmed the original manuscripts of The Bible) 
Visit of Masada National Park, King Herods Fortress
Visit of Qumran National Park where Dead sea Scrolls where found (closes at 5 pm, only 1 hour to visit)
Depart for Jerusalem and check into our hotel for 3 nights in one of the most ancient cities in the world.
Welcome chef-prepared dinner at hotel, followed by a Sound & Light Show at The Tower of David.

Day 7: Jerusalem

Meet for Overview Tour of the environs of Jerusalem:  The Mount of Olives & Garden of Gethsemane, and then enter into The Old Walled City of Ancient Jerusalem. 
Included lunch at a Rooftop Restaurant 
Begin a walking tour inside the Old City visiting the Church of Holy Sepulcher (considered the sacred point of the Cross of Christ) , Via Dolorosa (the stations of the cross prior to Christ's cruxifiction), as well as the Christian / Jewish / Muslim Quarters  of the city, Temple Mount , and The Garden Tomb (alternative site for where Christ's body was buried).

Day 8: Jerusalem

Return to The Old City of Jerusalem to continue visiting other sights like The Temple Mount (limited hours) , QWestern Wall aka:  The Wailing Wall, strolling back thru the various Quarters with time for shopping & antiquities shops. 
Lunch within the Walls before departing for our visit to Bethlehem and The Church of Nativity (considered the area of the Manger of Jesus' birthplace)
Return to Jerusalem with a magnificent High Tea at the world famous King David Hotel.
That evening we get to enjoy a special private traditional  Shabbat Dinner at the home of a Jewish Family. Candles are lit at this time. It is customary in many communities to light the candles 18 minutes before sundown

Day 9: Caesarea

Depart for Caesarea.  The town was built by Herod the Great, ( the Roman King of Judea) about as the port city Caesarea Maritima. It served as an administrative center of Judaea Province during the time of Jesus Christ 
Touring of the National Park followed by an incredible included Seafood Lunch at Caesarea Port
Visit to Winery with tastings with chef prepared special finger foods. The Wine Industry of Israel has reached a valuable turning point & sophistication with 8 geographical regions with distinct nuances.
Arrive at Tiberius on The Sea of Galilee and check into our hotel for 2 nights

Day 10: Capernaum, Jordan River & Sea of Galilee

Included breakfast at leisure followed by a day of visiting many sacred sights.
Visit to Capernum which  was the center of Jesus activities in the Galilee and his town during that time. Jesus taught in the local synagogue. It was also the home town of the apostles Peter, James, Andrew and John, and the tax collector Matthew.  
Visit to Tabgha  which on the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee is the scene of many Gospel stories, including the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes. Early Christians marked the site of this with a church, marking the place where Jesus uttered a blessing over the bread before the Multiplication, has become a well-loved symbol of this place and the miracle.  Also considered to be the Mount of Beatitudes. 
Visit to the Jordan River

Day 11: Port of Haifa

Depart for Northwestern Israel to the Port of Haifa
Along the way we visit Nazareth, where Jesus spent his boyhood years before beginning his ministry when he was about 30.  After moving from  his home to Capernaum, Jesus returned to teach in the synagogue of Nazareth twice more, but was rejected both times.  On one occasion the townspeople were so outraged at Jesus that they tried to throw him off a cliff to his death. 
Visit to the Church of Annunciation, a Byzantine church that was built over the place where it is believed that the angel Gabriel announced the birth of Jesus to the virgin Mary. 
Included lunch and a visit to a local Kibbutz farm , A kibbutz is a collective community in Israel that was traditionally based on agriculture and communal living. 
Continue on to Haifa Port on the Mediterranean Sea and check into our hotel
Farwell Dinner at a specially selected location for our traditional Farewell Story Way of Dining 


Day 12: Departure Day
